Ashford Park & Drew Valley History

Ashford Park and Drew Valley are two close-in neighborhoods that are popular, convenient and affordable. They are located inside the perimeter in Dekalb County and are situated between Peachtree Road and Clairmont Road.

Both are great walking neighborhoods and are larger than they appear. Residents enjoy a strong neighborhood association, wonderful new shops and restaurants on Dresden, Dekalb County taxes, and easy accessibility to MARTA, and I-85 and GA 400.

The neighborhoods were developed in the early 1950’s. Homes in Ashford Park tend to be more bungalow in style with new, larger homes dotted throughout. Mid-Century ranch style homes are more prevalent in Drew Valley.
